Master (Laurea) in Nuclear (Electronic Control) Engineering and Ph.D. in “Large Systems Control Theory “ with a thesis on “Adaptive Anti-jamming Controls in Phased Array Radars” at “La Sapienza” University – Roma.Italian Air Force Lieutenant with duties in Avionic Radars.
Chief Engineer of Naval Radar Systems and EW Ground and Naval Systems respectively at Selenia Roma and Pomezia.
Duties at Elettronica S.p.A- Roma along a 40 years career:
- Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
- CTO of the European Praetorian Group (four firms to develop and manufacture the Integrated Avionic EW System of the EFA-DASS for the European Air Forces)
- Technical consultant (Hon. CTO) and member of a number of NATO and EDA Study Groups.
- Author of many technical papers on radar and EW systems published in specialised magazines and presentations at international conferences, courses and seminars.
- Holder of some patents on EW techniques and devices (as an example, the last one (on 2009) is “Low Altitude Cross-Eye (LACE))
- Author of the book “Introduction to Modern EW Systems”, published (2 nd Edition) by Artech House, Norwood, MA (USA) in 2018
